Hello. I'm a new member here, so I suppose an introduction is in order.

• The name is Nick Valster.

• Age 14, just about to start high school's Freshman year.

• I moved to America from Europe. My parents decided to move back to my mother's hometown across the Atlantic and I have yet to become financially independent. Ugh.

• This blog will mostly be about whatever is on my mind. I like to think a lot about things, and maybe sharing thoughts and arguments here instead of in my paper journal will help someone else refine their thoughts out there.

• Don't expect consistency in terms of posting schedule. I don't have a schedule. Like, ever.

• Don't expect watered-down content here, either. When I say I will speak my mind, I will do it, regardless what you think of it. If something rubs you the wrong way, feel free to educate yourself on the topic and engage in a civil conversation once you're ready. Or just turn away if you can't be bothered. But don't bother me with it in such case.

• Do expect philosophy and maybe some sciency stuff. Those are the main interests I tend to talk a lot about. Other interests include but are not limited to skateboarding, rock music, art and reading. We'll see how much I end up writing about that.

This list is not exaustive, but at least it'll give you an impression what you're signing up for, should you decide to subscribe to this blog.
